Outdoor Learning Adventures That Inspire Teamwork and Discovery
Students love the opportunity to get outside to learn about nature and compete in team building activities that promote bonding and understanding.
starting at $20 per person – 10 person minimum
River Island Adventures offers field trips that get students outside to provide important physical, social and health benefits. Students will learn outdoor skills while building teamwork and confidence. Groups rotate through optional activities like nature skills, team-building activities, kayaking, and our popular SURVIVOR games. The Outpost provides amenities including restrooms, showers, picnic areas and games, and staff can customize an itinerary to match group size and ages. We’ve had students from schools all across Horry County and beyond as well as home school groups come spend the day with us.
Package A: SURVIVOR Games & Survival Skills
SURVIVOR Games – Students will be split into 6 teams to compete in fun games and challenges just like on the TV shows SURVIVOR and Beast Games! These stimulating team bonding exercises teach communication, leadership and problem solving skills in an outdoor environment that cannot be replicated in a classroom.
Survival Skills Training – We are proud to have partnered with Myrtle Beach survivalist Nicole Pisani who has been featured on the hit TV show Naked & Afraid! The students will receive hands-on instructions from Nicole on how to build a shelter, build a fire and other engaging and fun survival skills.
